Love Riscio & Dal Bhat

La sera c'è fermento in Thamel, nel mezzo di Kathmandu.
Riscio e taxi si incrociano ad ogni angolo, nelle cucine di ristoranti il riso bolle in grosse pentole e presto sopra i tavoli verrà servito il Dal Bhat.
I turisti giunti da poco non sanno dove muovere i propri passi.
Un gruppo di amici siede al bordo di una strada ed intrattiene alcuni locali conducenti di Riscio; cantano sugli accordi di una chitarra: "Love Riscio and Dal Bhat".
In the evening there is turmoil in Thamel, the center of Kathmandu.
Riscios and taxis meet at every corner, inside the kitchens of restaurants the rise boils into big pots and soon the Dal Bhat will be served above the tables.
The turists just came don't know where to move their feet.
A group of friends seats on the side of a road and entertains some locals riscio drivers, singing on guitar chords: "Love Riscio and Dal Bhat".

Una ragazza gioca a volano a due passi da Swayambhunath, altrimenti detto "tempio delle scimmie"; costruito sopra un colle, la città di Kathmandu si stende ai suoi piedi.

In Nepal è spesso interrotta l'erogazione di corrente elettrica e la sera così non vi è lampione che illumini le strade.
C'è chi cammina prestando attenzione ai propri passi, chi già s'è sdraiato sopra il letto. Alcune ragazze accendono candele attorno alla Stupa di Boudha.

In Nepal the electric current is often not delivered and in the evening time there isn't any lamp which lights the roads.
Someone walks taking stock of his feet, someone is just recumbent on the bed. A few girls light candels around the Boudha Stupa.

La Stagione delle Piogge

La gente dei villaggi trova riparo dinnanzi alle abitazioni, sotto tettoie costruite in legno; da qui alcuni osservano il rovescio, altri discorrono ed una mamma asciuga il volto del proprio bambino.
Il monsone non dura che un attimo, dopo poco la gente torna in strada.
(The Rainy Season)
During the summer season it rains every day, more than one time; drops heavy as hail fall down from the sky and the earth suddenly becomes impregnated by the water.
People of the villages found a shelter in front of the dwellings, under the porchs made in wood; from this place someone watches the rainfall, someone talks and a mother dries her own children.
The monsoon lasts just a moment, after a while people come in the road again.
